One man was shot dead and two others were injured, also by gunfire, during a fight between Atlético and Cruzeiro fans in the early afternoon of this Saturday (2) in Belo Horizonte.
The two teams had games in the capital this Saturday for the Campeonato Mineiro. Atlético defeated Ipatinga at Arena MRV, 3-0. Cruzeiro beat Uberlândia at Mineirão, 2-0.
According to information from the Military Police, the corporation was called at 1:56 pm for a fight in Barreiro, close to the border of Belo Horizonte and Contagem. The incident was still ongoing at 5 p.m.
The dead fan was taken to Santa Rita Hospital, but did not survive. The two injured were taken to the local UPA (Emergency Care Unit) and are not at risk of dying.
