Macapá City Hall opens free registration for places in sports schools that are being offered in the Glicério Marques Complex. Activities are aimed at children and teenagers aged 7 to 17 who want to practice Karate, Boxing, Kickboxing, wrestling and sand volleyball.
Registration continues until vacancies are filled and must be carried out from 8 am to 2 pm, at the Municipal Sports Complex, on Av. Mendonça Júnior, nº 1502, Centro.
For the Wrestling modality, 30 places will be offered in the morning and 20 places in the afternoon. In Boxing and Kickboxing there will be 10 places in the morning, and 10 in the afternoon. Karate will be offered 20 places in the morning and 20 places in the afternoon. Sand volleyball, 60 places in the morning and 60 places in the afternoon.
The schools at Glicério Marques offer conventional martial arts and those for People with Disabilities (PwD) such as Taekwondo and Parataekwondo, Jiu-jitsu and Parajiu-Jitsu, Judo and Parajudo, Paralympic Bocce, Karate and Parakarate, among others.
In addition, the initiative has physical activities, such as dancing, for seniors aged 60 and over.
To register, it is necessary to present original copies of the documents: ID or birth certificate, 3×4 photo, CPF of the student and guardian, school declaration and proof of residence.
