Next Thursday (19), at 6pm, the opening of the Macapá Municipal Server Games (Josmac) will take place at the Arena Nossa Senhora de Fátima, in the Santa Rita neighborhood. The event is an initiative of Macapá City Hall, run by the Municipal Department of Sports and Leisure, to integrate the capital’s public servants in various sports.
The games include men’s field football, women’s 5×5 society football, men’s and women’s 4×4 volleyball, men’s indoor football, men’s and women’s 3×3 basketball, men’s and women’s swimming, men’s and women’s athletics and male and female lady.
Registration is by teams made up of employees from a single secretariat/coordination, or up to three secretariats/coordinations.
Registration takes place in person at the Municipal Department of Sport and Leisure, located at Rua Raimundo Ozanan, 23, center (in front of Praça Floriano Peixoto), from 8 am to 2 pm. The games will be held according to the following systems: depending on the number of entrants per modality, the competitions may be held in a single elimination system (“knockout”), simple rotation (all against all in a single round) or simple round of brackets . The definition of the dispute system will be the responsibility of the Technical Committee.
The games will be held for the first time and will provide moments of relaxation and leisure for municipal public servants in the capital. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to compete in different sports. The event aims to promote interaction and exchange between public servants from Macapá City Hall, encouraging sports, recreation and leisure, thus favoring integration and appreciation as individuals active in society.
