Manaus (AM) – The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) held, this Tuesday (30), at the entity’s headquarters, the draw for the 40 matches in the first phase of the Copa Betano do Brasil 2024. The base date for the games is February 21. In this edition, Amazonian football will have two representatives: Amazonas FC and Manauara EC. The Jaguar from the East Zone visits Independente-AP with the advantage of a draw; Robô da Amazônia receives Retrô-PE needing victory.

The 80 clubs classified for the First Phase were divided into eight pots, with ten teams in each, identified from A to H, following the National Club Ranking (RNC). The ten best ranked teams are in pot A, the next ten occupy pot B and so on until reaching pot H. The 40 matches drawn respect the following rule: A x E, B x F, C x G and D x H.
