The CBF board does not intend to allow the vote on a club proposal to reduce the number of relegated Brazilians from Série A. The idea was to vote in the Technical Council of the First Division, which takes place this Tuesday afternoon (14), in the confederation.
The understanding of the CBF, however, is that the measure would affect all series of the Brazilian. So it couldn’t be done overnight. The allegation is that there would be an effect on the regulations of the teams in Series A, B, C and D. And the regulations of the Third and Fourth Divisions do not have two years as provided for in the Fan Statute.
The Serie B clubs also expressed their opposition to the proposal through a note:
