Barcelona player has house robbed during La Liga match

With the title of the Spanish Championship practically under way and a victory against Betis with the right to a rout at the Camp Nou, last Saturday, the 29th, it was a celebration in Barcelona. For defender Jules Koundé, however, the euphoria quickly turned into a nightmare.

In the starting line-up and author of one of the 4-0 assists, the French player was faced with a horrible scene when he got home: he discovered that his mansion had been robbed. Located in Sitges, Barcelona, ​​the residence was invaded by thieves during the night, while the match was taking place.

According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Koundé called the police as soon as he discovered what happened. On Sunday morning, the defender informed the club and his teammates of the theft suffered.

This is not the first time that a Barcelona player has had his home burglarized in the region. Names like Ansu Fati, Samuel Umtiti, Jordi Alba, Luis Suárez, Arthur Melo, Philippe Coutinho and Kevin-Prince Boateng have also suffered at the hands of bandits.

The most emblematic case, however, occurred with the Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The player saw his wife being dragged by the hair by the assailants and, when he tried to defend her, he had his jaw broken after being hit with a gun. Shortly thereafter, he transferred to Chelsea.
