Under-17 women’s team is called up for the first preparatory period of 2024 – News of Brazil

The U17 Women’s Team already has its first commitment for 2024 scheduled. Coach Simone Jatobá called up 26 players for the first preparation period, which will take place from January 17th to 28th, at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis (RJ). The window is aimed at the category’s South American Championship, scheduled for March this year, in Argentina.
After the training period at Granja, 23 players will head to Portugal on January 29th for the Algarve Tournament, where they will face three friendlies against Germany on February 1st, the Netherlands on the 3rd and the hosts on the day 6. The list of those called up for the competition will be announced later.
The last time the Seleção met was in November 2022, when they played three friendlies in Costa Rica, facing the Costa Ricans, Colombia and Mexico.
