Manaus (AM) — The Sesc Cycle will take place this Sunday (17), starting at 7am, with the aim of encouraging the use of bicycles with a view to sustainability and healthy habits.

The tour will take place in the parking lot set back from Praia da Ponta Negra, a space that will also be the start and finish point. With a total distance of 12 km, the event is open to the public and aimed at all ages.

This year, the Sesc Cycle will celebrate 70 years of operation of the Federation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of Amazonas – Fecomércio AM, as explained by the president of the institution, Aderson Frota.

“Fecomércio’s seven decades of activity and dedication to the State’s economy are a milestone for local commerce. And Sesc is part of this, as the social arm of the Commerce System. Therefore, this will be one of the ways to celebrate this important date together with the population”,

he said.

Registration is free and is still available on the website: www.sesc-am.com.br. On Sunday, registrants can collect the official event shirt by donating two kilos of non-perishable food, which will be donated to entities accredited at Mesa Brasil.

Each participant must bring their bicycle, and for those who want to remember or learn how to cycle, there will be support from the “Bike Anjo” project, which will help before the event starts.
