The mayor of Macapá, Dr. Furlan, inaugurated on Friday (29) the Nossa Senhora de Fátima Sports Arena, a space dedicated to the practice of physical and recreational activities for the population. The arena has a synthetic grass field, wall, fence, gates, sidewalk and channel for surface drainage.
The work is part of the third stage of Praça Nossa Senhora de Fátima, located in the Santa Rita neighborhood, which has already delivered the Family Space and leisure space.
The place is one of the most visited tourist and religious spots in the city. The total investment was R$ 975,490.12, with resources from a parliamentary amendment by senator Davi Alcolumbre and a counterpart from the Municipal Treasury.
Mayor Dr. Furlan highlighted the importance of the Sports Arena at Praça Nossa Senhora de Fátima being delivered to the Macapaenses.
The space is part of the Nossa Senhora de Fátima Complex, which was revitalized by Macapá City Hall.
