In order to promote sport and leisure for the community, the Municipal Sports and Leisure Coordination (Eat) delivered this Tuesday (4th) sporting material to the CEU das Artes Zona Sul. The initiative is part of the project ‘Sport and Health for All’. The place already offers Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu activities for the population.
“Our goal is to encourage social projects. This delivery is a demonstration that the municipal management believes that through sport it is possible to change lives. We are in the crowd so that new talents can become great champions”highlighted the coordinator of Comel, Bruno Church.
Mats, jiu jitsu gis, gauntlets, kick guards, gloves for boxing and muay thai classes were delivered. The project to encourage the practice of sport has an amendment by the federal deputy Acácio Favacho (MDB).
“Through this support we will strengthen our athletes, it means more conditions for learning. These are investments that our audience certainly deserves.”thanked the CEU coordinator, Absolute Dino.
Jacqueline de Melo, accompanies the daughter Lais Tayane, 9 years old, in jiu jitsu, for her sport is a way to help with discipline and education. “She has improved a lot since she started classes, I see that the reflection of this is the practice of exercises. Laís still didn’t have a kimono and today she got one as a gift, it will help a lot and my daughter will definitely dedicate herself even more”he said smiling.
Who was also happy with the delivered, was the little Jorge Miguel, age 11. “I’ve been on the project since the beginning. My dream is to be an athlete and win many medals and travel the world through sport.”commented.
