Romeo, 20, was on loan at Brentford B

Romeo Beckham, son of the former football star, david beckham, and manager and former Spice Girl, Vitoria Beckham, signed a one-year contract with Brentford, England. Brentford, whose first team play in the top tier of English football, said the club had the option of extending the commitment for a further year.

The 20-year-old played for Brentford B on loan last season, when he was loaned by Inter Miami, the American club that recently signed Messi. Since arriving at Brentford, Romeo has played 15 games and scored once.

Speaking to the club, Romeo said of the new contract: “It’s the best feeling. I’m really excited, ready to come back and have a great season. It’s a good place to be.”

Brentford B manager Neil MacFarlane said in a statement on the club’s website: “Romeo has been fantastic for the group since he arrived in January.”

“He had a great end to the season in the last game against Manchester City B, where he showed that he has evolved a lot since he arrived.”
