Piá do Couto, striker Éberth is moved by a goal against Coritiba

The attacker Éberth debuted on Couto Pereira with a goal in Coritiba’s victory over PSTC 3-1, this Monday (18), in the first round of the Paraná Championship. Raised at the Alviverde base, the 20-year-old athlete was emotional at the end of the game.
“I debuted last year, today is my debut with the fans. Thank you for this party that they always throw. It’s an immense gratitude to God, there are no words to talk about this very special moment that I will cherish for the rest of my life” , he declared, at the end of the match, in an interview with radio stations present on the pitch.
“I’m very happy. I have a lot of stars, it’s the result of a lot of work. Only God and my family know what I’ve been through, and I just have to enjoy it so I can improve every day”, added the young man, who scored his first goal as a professional athlete.

Éberth played his second game for Coxa. His professional debut was last season, in the 2-0 defeat to Corinthians, in the last round of the Brasileirão. This Thursday, he was able to play close to the fans and celebrate the goal with the stands.
“Éberth is a player who has a lot of desire, willingness and humility to learn. And he can come in and help us a lot”, praised coach Guto Ferreira.
The athlete replaced striker Edu, 30 minutes into the second half, and in the 44th minute scored the goal that declared Coxa’s 3-1 victory, his first as a professional.
Alviverde’s next match is also at home, at Couto Pereira, against São Joseense, next Monday (22), at 8pm.
