Manaus (AM) – Nacional got the better of Rio-Nal. Leão da Vila Municipal beat Rio Negro 1-0, this Tuesday (6), at the Ismael Benigno stadium, Colina, and put an end to a sequence of four consecutive draws at Barezão 2024. The result guaranteed classification for the quarterfinals of the first round of the State Championship. Ceará, still in the first stage, scored the goal of Azul’s first victory in the current season.

With the victory, Nacional reached seven points, and now defeats its rivals to close the group stage in second place in group B. Having qualified, Leão now awaits the definition of its opponent in the quarter-finals of this first round.
