Event promoted by Abu Dhabi takes place this 2nd, at BC Fight Week, in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina

On the 2nd, jiu-jitsu and grappling lovers have an appointment with emotion and technique at the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC) 3 event, which will be held at BC Fight Week, in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina. The event, which will be held in Brazil for the first time, promises electrifying fights and a high-intensity atmosphere, with emphasis on the long-awaited dispute between the talented Manausian Fabrício Andrey and the skilled Ruan Alvarenga.

Highlighted at ADXC 1, after beating Márcio André in an electrifying duel, Fabricio Andrey returns to the octagon of the event with great expectations from the public. With an aggressive and explosive style, the Alliance fighter promises to put on a show for the fans present at Expocentro next Saturday, the 2nd.

“I’m always prepared, I never stop training, so what changes are some details. I did more specific training because of the octagon, the fight time and thinking about my opponent. It’s just one fight, so I want to go in there to give it my all and deliver a great show like my debut”, says Fabrício.

Born in Manaus, Fabrício left his hometown at the age of 16 to head to São Paulo. There, he passed through the hands of Melqui Galvão and, more recently, Fábio Gurgel, at Alliance, and established himself as one of the greatest talents in jiu jitsu today. Despite this, the young athlete, aged 24, does not forget his roots. His love for Manaus and its rich culture remains alive, and whenever possible, he visits the city, his old teachers and his family. He doesn’t give up on local traditions, especially the traditional tapioca with açaí, which, according to him, is the secret to his incredible strength and resistance.

“Whenever I can I go to Manaus, I love my city, my culture. I’m not talking out of my mouth. When people ask me where I’m from, I make a point of filling my mouth and saying that I’m from Manaus. The training there was also very hard, there was always that açaí with tapioca afterwards to give that strength. That’s the secret (laughs). Sometimes I miss it, but I always try to remember why I chose to move. I wanted to improve my life, help my family and I’m doing it. So this gives me strength to continue”, he says.

Behind the scenes of the sport, Fabrício Andrey has another dream: opening a burger restaurant, his culinary passion. He plans to invest in his education so he can undertake this area, showing that his ambitions go beyond the octagon.

“What do I plan for the future? Open a burger restaurant (laughs). Whenever people ask me, I say this and everyone laughs, thinking it’s a joke. I love burgers, I’ve always had that in my head. But I want to study, learn how to manage a business and get this plan off the ground”, reveals the good man from Manaus.

With a trajectory marked by determination, the man from Manaus promises to continue inspiring not only in the world of fights, but also as an entrepreneur and example of overcoming. ADXC 3 will be another opportunity for fans to witness the talent and determination of this true pride of Manaus.
