Libertadores champion player is hired as new reinforcement for Amazonas FC

Manaus (AM) – Libertadores Champion with Fluminense in 2023, midfielder Giovanni was made official as Amazonas FC’s new reinforcement for the season. The athlete is already integrated into the Aurinegro squad, regularized with the Daily Newsletter (BID) of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and available to coach Luizinho Vieira to debut.

“I want to play, show my football. We know that Amazonas is growing every day, every year. That we can have a good campaign in Series B and move up, which is the main focus of the group”, declared the new reinforcement of Onça-pintada, who will be another option for the creative sector, alongside Rafael Tavares, Diego Torres , Fellipe Bastos, Eduardo Teixeira and Foguinho.

Born in Bauru (SP), Giovanni Manson Ribeiro is 22 years old and, for the first time, will play for a team from the North. The midfielder was revealed by Santos-SP, played for Ajax and Telstar, from the Netherlands, and returned to Brazilian football last year, to defend the colors of Tricolor das Laranjeiras, for which he won the Campeonato Carioca and the Copa Libertadores.

Amazonas returns to the field on Wednesday (6). Against Capital-TO, Aurinegro will debut in the Copa Verde, at Arena da Amazônia, at 8pm. Ticket information will be released in the coming days.
