Last days to register for the “Mulheres Largam na Frente” race in Manaus

Competition is exclusive to women aged 16 and over

The deadline to guarantee participation in the “Mulheres Largam na Frente” Run and Walk in Manaus is coming to an end. Registration closes this Monday (4). Held in partnership between Manauara Shopping and Amazonas Shopping, the race promises to be a milestone in the city’s sporting calendar, by encouraging sports and promoting representation and empowerment of women. In addition to a trophy and medal, the competition will have prizes of up to R$3,000.

With 6 km courses, the competition is exclusively for women aged 16 and over. Registration can be done online via the website www.ticketsports.com.br. Special benefits are available for blood donors and people with disabilities.

“This race is not just a sporting competition, it is a celebration of women’s strength and determination. We are proud to be part of this initiative”, says Karla Henderson, marketing manager at Manauara Shopping.

Amazonas Shopping’s marketing manager, Ivanna Passos, also highlights the importance of the event by drawing attention to themes that are latent, such as female empowerment, inclusion, empathy. “The mall is committed to these issues and always seeks to get involved with events that seek to increase society’s awareness in this direction,” she states.

The race seeks to promote the inclusion of women of all abilities and physical conditions, with specific categories for wheelchair users and people with visual impairments. The categories are: Individual (6km), People Who Use Wheelchairs (exclusively 3-wheel chairs), and People with Visual Impairments (accompanied by guides).

The start and finish will be at Manauara Shopping, on Avenida Mário Ypiranga, 1300, Adrianópolis neighborhood, at 5:45 am for people with disabilities and 6 am for other categories. Participation kits will be distributed on March 8th and 9th.

Awards

All registered athletes who finish the competition will receive a participation medal. In the General Individual category (6km), the first ten placed will be awarded trophies and cash amounts according to their classification: 1st place will receive R$3,000; 2nd place, R$2 thousand; 3rd place, R$1,500; 4th place will receive R$1,300; 5th place will receive R$1,100; 6th place will receive R$900; 7th place will receive R$700; 8th place will receive R$500.00; 9th place will receive R$ 300.00; and 10th place will receive R$100.00.

In addition, there will be trophies awarded for the categories Individual Employees Amazonas Shopping, Individual Employees Manauara Shopping, Visuals (6km), Wheelchairs (6km) and for the teams with the highest number of registered participants.
