Independente defeats Ypiranga and assumes leadership of Amapazão

The match between Independente and Ypiranga, this Monday (15), at Estádio Zerão, opened the second round of the Amapaense Football Championship, the Amapazão 2023. Carcará da Vila Maia beat Clube da Torre by 3×1 and takes over the competition leadership.


 

The first half was favorable for Independente, who even on the defensive knew how to take advantage of opportunities and in the 23rd minute opened the scoring through Higo Calçoene. The second goal was a penalty and was scored by Lukaku.

In the second half, in an error, Carcará scores an own goal with Alex Alemão, helping the opponent, but to increase the difference, in the 35th minute, Augusto scores the third, further sealing the team’s victory.

With the victory, Independente takes the lead of the table with six points and two victories. Ypiranga, on the other hand, is in fifth place with one point and one draw. Independente’s next commitment is on May 25, against São Paulo/AP. Clube da Torre plays against Oratório, on the 22nd of May. Both games are at 8 pm at Estádio Zerão.

Amapazão 2023 continues this Wednesday (16) with the game between Oratório and Trem, at 8 pm, at Estádio Zerão.
