There’s a lot going on at the same time and, according to initial indications, Brazilian football is not yet ready for so many transformations. Starting with the obvious: the creation of Football Anonymous Society, the SAFan old demand from clubs and absolutely necessary for the modernization of football administration.

However, it is necessary to emphasize that the simple adhesion to the SAF, with promises of all sorts, does not guarantee the immediate technical recovery of the teams that are skating. The validity of the terms of contracts signed between sports clubs and groups of entrepreneurs is not discussed. All within the strictness of the law.

However, with regard to the training of players at the base and, above all, the choice of specialized professionals for the technical commissions and the signing of players who will integrate the main squads, the magic word continues to be competence.

Without competence in football management there will be frustration for fans and widespread discouragement. So let’s go easy on the ardor because most football saints are clay. Another phenomenon that shakes the market is the fraudulent betting scheme in recent years, in games of almost all championships in dispute.

The Public Ministry of the State of Goiás kicked off the operation entitled “Maximum Penalty”. The first complaints are worrying, with some players already removed from professional activity. Finally, a new and gloomy panorama is prowling the lawns.

Without supervision, those suspected of manipulating the results of games swam by the armful and the money laundering scheme multiplied. It is past time for the police, criminal, labor and sports authorities to take the necessary measures.

Due to the seriousness and depth of the issue, it may be necessary to promote a collective pardon for the reported players, who became easy prey in this period without betting regulation. It would be better to start from scratch with specific legislation to avoid chaos in Brazilian football.

Everything will depend on the volume of complaints that continue to appear in all corners of the country.
