The long-awaited final of the Agoutis Championship is about to take place this Saturday (02), bringing with it the promise of great clashes between local teams that have stood out throughout this tournament. The championship started on May 1st, coinciding with the municipality’s birthday, and since then, fans of the sport have followed with enthusiasm the comebacks and skills demonstrated by the participating teams.

In the women’s tournament, six teams entered the field to win the title. Among them, Capoeira and São Raimundo emerged as the finalists, after demonstrating an impressive performance in their journeys. Capoeira secured their place in the final by beating Sagrado 2-1 in an electrifying game, while São Raimundo triumphed on penalties against Gurupora, leaving fans eager to see these two talented teams compete for the trophy.

In the men’s tournament, the competition was equally intense, with 16 teams battling it out for their chance to shine. Reaching the final, Pracuúba and Beira Rio showed consistency and quality by overcoming their opponents in the semifinals. Pracuuba left Sagrado behind, while Beira Rio beat Santa Rosa, thus setting the stage for an epic clash between these teams that have won over the local crowd.

Also thank everyone who helped directly and indirectly in the championship, the mayor of Cutias, Professor Amanajás, the president of the FAF, Netto Góes, Marcelo, Ernesto and all the others”

Taffarel highlighted the dedication of the players and the constant support of the local fans as key elements for the success of the tournament. “Our players have been pushing hard, displaying talent and resilience in every match. The presence and support of the fans has been a real fuel for the performance of the teams.”

The Acutias community is invited to honor this sporting moment, which celebrates the unity and sporting spirit of the region. The final will take place next Saturday at Arena Paraíso, with the women’s game starting at 2:30 pm, followed by the men’s game.
