The cameras and bugs hidden in Parque São Jorge were found from a scan determined by Augusto Melo. At least three pieces of spy equipment were found on the floor where the top hat’s room is located and where meetings with other directors and advisors also take place.

The team’s press office confirmed the information obtained by the report from three different sources and, in a short note, said only that “Corinthians’ new administration regrets, but is not surprised by what happened.”

One of the pieces of equipment was behind the screen of a painting behind Augusto’s desk. Another was found in a socket switch, and the third, under the presidential secretary’s desk.

In addition to the members of the new board, the places are frequented by athlete managers and executives from companies with which the club maintains or negotiates partnerships.

So far, the president of Corinthians has chosen not to file a police report. According to people close to the top hat interviewed by the report, he fears being accused of having planted the equipment himself to create news.
