Coritiba refuses millionaire proposal for prominent Copinha goalkeeper

Coritiba refused a proposal from Bragantino by the goalkeeper Pedro Moriscofrom the Alviverde base.

The São Paulo club offered R$10 million for the athlete, but Coxa does not intend to negotiate him. The information was initially released by the journalist Rogério Scarione and confirmed by OneTwo Sports.

The young athlete, just 20 years old, has been gaining prominence in the squad due to his good performances in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. This Monday (15), Morisco was the name of the classification for the round of 16 of the Copinha, over Juventus.

Coxa won on penalties 5-4, and Pedro Morisco, who took a penalty and also scored the last penalty that guaranteed Coxa’s classification.

The goalkeeper gained his first professional opportunity at the end of the 2023 Brasileirão, in the first games under the command of Guto Ferreira. The athlete drew attention for his confident performances even at his young age.

After the Copinha, the athlete should gain new opportunities in the Paranaense Championship. Morisco has a contract until 2027 with Coritiba.

Last week, Coxa announced another young archer for the Coxa-White target. Goalkeeper João Benassi, 20 years old, arrived at CT da Graciosa to join the squad for the 2024 season.

With the signing, Luan Polli must leave the club and Coritiba will have Gabriel, Pedro Morsico and Benassi as options for the goal.
