Registration for the IV Amapá Civil Police Street Race opened this Wednesday, the 6th. The event, organized by the Civil Police Union (Sinpol), will take place on April 21st – the date on which these professionals’ day is celebrated – and aims to encourage the practice of physical activity, in addition to bringing society closer to the institution.

This year the program will have a national attraction. The Bahian band Olodum is in charge of cheering the athletes at the end of the race.

The president of Sinpol, Alexandre Verçosa, said that the program is one of the most anticipated of the year and that interested parties should hurry, as only two thousand registrations will be available.

“It has already become a tradition. It is considered one of the biggest and best street races in the north of the country. Participants will have the opportunity to break new personal records and we will also have something new on the route”, said the president.

There will be a 6-kilometer route with prizes in various categories. Registration is only being carried out online via the link HTTPS://esporteriedade.com.br/ivriedadederuadapoliciacivil-ap2024

The start and finish will be in front of the union headquarters located on Avenida Cora de Carvalho, in the Santa Rita neighborhood, in Macapá.

“Another new feature this year will be the trophies and medals. We decided to highlight one of our city’s tourist attractions”, said Verçosa.

The prices are R$90 for the general public and R$45 for union members, plus the website fee.
