Since 2006, Amazonian football has not had a representative in the Brazilian second division
Manaus (AM) – Current champion of Series C, Amazonas FC learned the path it will take in its first participation in Series B of the 2024 Brazilian Championship. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) released, on Wednesday night (6), the table basic part of the national competition, which starts on April 19th. The Aurinegra debut will be against Sport-PE, at home, on the 19th, 20th or 21st of April.
The document released by the highest entity of Brazilian football presents the base dates of the 38 rounds of Series B. Since 2006, Amazonian football has not had a representative in the Brazilian second division. The competition follows the points system, with round-trip games.
After the debut, the Jaguar will have two consecutive duels away from home, against CRB and Ponte Preta. In the 4th round, the Amazon team receives Santos and in the following, they return to play away from Manaus, against Ceará.
