In a press conference before the derby against Barcelona, Ancelotti was asked about his future at Real Madrid.
The Italian coach declared that, for him, “I would stay at this club for the rest of my life. It’s impossible, but I would like to”.
According to Ancelotti, the thought at the moment is to remain in charge of Real Madrid, but the decision will come from the board at the end of the season.
Still in 2022, the coach was asked about a possible interest from the CBF, but said he intended to fulfill his contract with Real Madrid until the end.
CBF INTEREST AND RUMORS OF DISMISSAL
Carlo Ancelotti is the main target of the CBF to take over the position left by Tite in the Brazilian national team, as revealed by UOL Sport. However, the situation also depends on whether or not the coach stays at Real Madrid. The current contract runs until June 2024.
