CBF: Millionaire fine for Dorival’s ‘theft’ generates clash – 01/28/2024 – Mônica Bergamo

The CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) and São Paulo Futebol Clube reached an impasse regarding the amounts that the entity must disburse to the club after inviting coach Dorival Júnior to be the new coach of the Brazilian team.

The CBF, according to people familiar with the negotiations, has so far agreed to pay R$5.5 million, corresponding to the fine and the disbursement from São Paulo.
