Between the 23rd and 25th of July, Amapá will host the 1st Master Tournament in the Middle of the World – Moisés Tavares de Araújo “Peticov” Basketball Edition. The event is promoted by the coordinator of the Brazilian Master Basketball Federation (FBBM) in the 45+ category, Jalena Pinon, from Amapá.
In this first edition, there will be categories 30+, 40+ and 50+ for men and 30+ for women. The games will be at Ginásio Avertino Ramos and on the court of Santina Rioli School. There will be no team registration fee, only athlete registration fee, which is worth R$50. Value must be passed through pix (96) 991097503.
“But we will try to allocate the maximum number of master athletes from our state so that those who have never experienced a master championship can understand how the rules of the championships approved by the FBBM are”, he said Jalena.
The draw for the keys, if necessary, will take place on July 12, at 9 pm. The technical congress is scheduled for the 16th, with a time to be defined, and the game schedule will be announced on the 19th. The winners of each category will win trophies and medals.
At the end, 1 kg of non-perishable food will be asked to donate to an entity already chosen by the coordination of the event. In addition, prize draws will be held during the break between games.
