The Amapá Military Police (PM/AP) is offering places for children and teenagers in its social projects. In total, there are 100 places distributed for the ‘Champeons of Tomorrow’, futsal, and ‘Cidadão Mirim’. Interested parties have until March 7th to register.

To register for both projects, parents need to bring proof of residence, school declaration, copy of the student’s and guardian’s ID and a 3×4 photo of the student.

For the ‘Child Citizen’, the documentation needs to be taken to the DASC/AP (Directorate of Social Action and Citizenship), at Rua Rio Xingú, 375, Perpétuo Socorro neighborhood. For ‘Champions of Tomorrow’, documents must be presented at the General Command Barracks, at Rua Jovino Dinoá, 3671, Beirol neighborhood.

For the ‘Cidadão Mirim’ project, there are 50 places available, for teenagers between 12 and 16 years old and the ‘Campeões do Ajante’, futsal, there are 25 for the age group from 08 to 11 years old and 25 places for young people from 12 to 16 years.

About the projects

The “Campeōes do Tomorrow” futsal project was established in 2003, on the premises of the General Command of the Military Police, serving children and adolescents of both sexes, aged 8 to 16, who are regularly enrolled for the school year. .

Its objective is to contribute to the social inclusion of children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability through socio-sports activities, and always counting on the guidance of professionals committed to developing these students’ character.

The Child Citizen Program offers complementary logistical support to socio-educational practices, and acts as a preventive strategy for better quality and life expectancy for children and adolescents, encouraging the fight against violence and non-involvement in illicit practices, offering classes such as: united order , ethics, democracy and citizenship.
