Ypiranga beats Santos and qualifies for the next stage of Amapazão – News of Brazil

This Thursday (15), Ypiranga and Santos were on the field to win a place in the next phase of the Amapaense Football Championship. In the match valid for the penultimate round of the competition, Clube da Torre beat Peixe da Amazônia by 2×1, at Estádio Zerão.

With this result, Negro Anil is in fourth place, with eight points, and guaranteeing, until then, its passage to the second phase of the competition. Peixe da Amazônia is complicated, being parked in sixth place, with seven points, but with chances of getting into the G4.

In the first half, Ypiranga took the opportunity to open the scoring in the 14th minute, with Gustavo, after a free kick in the Santos area. In less than four minutes the second goal came with Kate, in the 17th minute. The Fish even tried to tie, but failed.

In the second half of the game, Santos came thirsty for goals and after trying so hard, in the 11th minute, Eduardo scored a beautiful goal from outside the area. The remainder of the match was divided between attempts at a draw and an increase in the scoreboard.

Negro Anil enters the field, in the last round of the qualifying phase, on the 22nd, against last-placed São Paulo, but still has one game to play, against Trem, which will be on June 28th, valid for the fifth round of the competition . Peixe needs to beat the runner-up, Oratório, on the 23rd. Both games are at 8pm, at Estádio Zerão.

Amapazão continues this Friday (16), with the last match of the sixth round between the last two placed in the table: Santana and São Paulo. The game will be at 20:00, at Estádio Zerão.
