Even without knowing the reason for the subpoena, the advisory of federal deputy Deltan Dallagnol (Podemos-PR) confirmed that he will give testimony to the Federal Police this Friday afternoon (2).

According to the deputy’s defense, the subpoena received by the parliamentarian on the last 30th does not inform the reason for the testimony, or the condition under which he will be heard. Deltan’s lawyer filed a petition to have access to the case files, but so far there has been no response. The defense also claims that Dallagnol, as he still holds a parliamentary mandate, would be entitled to choose the date and time for his testimony, which did not occur.

Even so, Deltan Dallagnol’s defense states that he will give the statement to the Federal Police, by videoconference, in respect of “his commitment to transparency, justice and the rule of law”.

According to a source with knowledge of the case, heard by People’s Gazette, Dallagnol will give testimony as investigated at the request of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), for speeches about the decision of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) to revoke his mandate. The deposition is scheduled for 3 pm.
