Itinerant Mobile Cabinet of state deputy Júnior Favacho (MDB) arrived in Porto Grande on Wednesday afternoon (30), with the aim of listening to the needs of the local population. Led by the parliamentarian, the advisors listened to the Portograndenses, which will result in mandate actions to solve the various problems raised by the citizens of the municipality. Topics such as health, infrastructure and service provision were the most frequently mentioned by residents.
This edition of the itinerant cabinet was held together with the itinerant session of the Legislative Assembly of Amapá (Alap), also held in Porto Grande on the same date. Deputy Júnior Favacho explained that taking the entire cabinet to the municipality aims to bring his mandate closer to the population and understand the reality of residents. In addition to listening to citizens and providing assistance, the congressman’s team distributed pamphlets with contact information for the mandate.
“We are here to listen to the population of Porto Grande, to understand firsthand the problems they face and the main demands of the municipality. These actions of the itinerant cabinet help us to guide our mandate, as it is based on them that we prepare requests, suggestions and even bills that improve the quality of life of the people of Amapá. Our office has the purpose of being ever closer to the population and finding solutions that make Amapá a better place to live”, said Junior Favacho.
The deputy also addressed specific problems in the municipality, such as the delay in completing the work on the Porto Grande Regional Hospital, which began in 2018. hospital. “This is an old demand that needs a solution. I place our mandate and our tax amendments at your disposal to allocate resources to help complete this work that is so important for the population.”
With regard to the problems of energy supply faced by the population, Júnior Favacho explained that he had already submitted an application to Alap asking CEA Equatorial, in collaboration with the Municipality of Porto Grande, to carry out a joint action to update the registration and active search residents enrolled in the municipality’s Single Registry (CadÚnico). These residents are entitled to benefits such as the Social Tariff for electricity, which offers beneficiaries discounts or exemptions from certain fees.
This is a relevant topic for Francisco Vieira, a retired security guard. He was heard by advisors at the Mobile Itinerant Cabinet and explained that he has been facing problems with the electricity supply in his home, especially in relation to tariff values. During the event, he had the opportunity to clarify his doubts with the legal team of Júnior Favacho’s office. “It is important to have this type of action to understand our rights and be closer to our representatives. This problem with the energy bill is not just mine, but many residents of Porto Grande, ”he explained.
Agriculture and Development
The agricultural sector also had a voice in the mobile itinerant cabinet. Rural producer Renan Massoni defended the autonomy of municipalities in Amapá to license land for rural production. He believes that this will boost the growth of this sector. “The municipality of Porto Grande has granted licenses to producers, but there are some limitations. I have followed the mandate of Deputy Júnior Favacho, who is aligned with the agricultural sector and also supports greater autonomy for municipalities, ”he said.
Júnior Favacho, current president of Alap’s Agriculture and Supply Committee, also spoke on the subject. “In Pará, municipalities are authorized to license up to 2,000 hectares, which has transformed the reality of that state. We want the same to happen here. We need to guarantee dignity to farmers who have been working on their land for years without legal security. With ownership of the land, they will be able to access resources, increase production and generate jobs and income for the state, contributing to the development of Amapá. This is what we all want s”, he concluded.
Mobile Traveling Office
Idealized by Deputy Júnior Favacho, the itinerant cabinet had its first edition held in April, in the municipality of Santana. The objective of the project is to travel throughout the state of Amapá, listening to suggestions and demands from the population of Amapá, bringing the parliamentary mandate closer to the population. The initiative was so successful that it began to serve as an example for other deputies. In addition, with high support from Júnior Favacho’s advisors, a bus is used to facilitate the team’s movement, transforming the project into a Mobile Itinerant Office.
