Ten amenities will be offered for the session at Shopping Ponta Negra

Manaus (AM) – Mothers and fathers with babies up to 18 months old can watch films for free at CineMaterna, at Shopping Ponta Negra, in the West Zone of Manaus. The poster for the January edition of the project is the animation “Wish: The power of desires”.

In 2024, the project’s goal is to provide 2,400 moms, dads and babies with the possibility of watching cinema releases for free.

“CineMaterna transforms the living room into a cozy space so that parents can enjoy the experience of watching the film with their child by their side, and can assist them and provide the assistance the baby needs. It is a unique experience of sharing and building memories. It’s really worth it,”

highlighted the Marketing Manager of Shopping Ponta Negra, Priscila Furtado.

From Walt Disney Studios, “Wish” is an animated musical comedy that takes audiences to the magical kingdom of Roses. There, Asha, a perceptive girl, makes a wish so powerful that it is granted by a cosmic force: a small sphere of limitless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star face a formidable enemy – the ruler of Rosas, King Magnificent.

Created 15 years ago with the aim of benefiting moms, dads and babies, CineMaterna is held in the capital of Amazonas at Shopping Ponta Negra and will guarantee ten free tickets this week. The first mothers and babies who arrive at the 14-hour film session this Tuesday, January 23rd, will receive the benefits. More information about the project can be found on the website

According to CineMaterna’s rules, inclusive sessions are aimed at mothers, fathers and companions with babies up to 18 months old. The objective is to offer entertainment for this segment of the public, but in an environment specially designed for babies.

The rooms have reduced sound volume during the session; air conditioning temperatures are milder; the lighting becomes lighter; and parents have changing tables inside the cinema room, as well as parking for baby strollers with volunteers to provide support. At the end of the sessions there is also a chat with those present.

The project is carried out once a month and the films in the session are chosen through popular vote on the website
