Stage, LED screens, accessible space for PWD and more than an hour of musical attractions are confirmed at Largo São Sebastião

Manaus (AM) – The countdown to the ‘Festa da Cunhã’, this Tuesday (16), starting at 8pm, will take place in two locations: at Largo São Sebastião, in Manaus, and at Bumbódromo de Parintins (369 kilometers away from Manaus). Organized by the State Government, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, the themed party open to the public, is an invitation for Amazonians to watch the live broadcast of the BBB24 final, which features cunhã-poranga Isabelle Nogueira, as a representative of Amazonas.

At Largo de São Sebastião, the assembly of the stage that will house the Festa da Cunhã attractions began this Monday (15). The structure will be advanced to bring the attractions closer to the public and will occupy the side of the Largo, close to Rua José Clemente, where cultural events held by the secretariat usually take place.

Two LED screens will be positioned in the space. One next to the stage, and another, on the opposite side of Largo São Sebastião, making it easier to see for those a little further away. As with all events run by the Department of Culture, there will be an accessibility space for People with Disabilities (PWD). The event will feature an apparatus from other state departments, involving health, safety and traffic.

According to the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy, Marcos Apolo Muniz, the moment celebrates the participation of Amazonians in the reality show, where they spared no information about the state’s culture, achieving visibility throughout Brazil.

“She has done work to promote our culture, our roots, the reality of our state, a very important work for each of us, because when we go to seek support, people don’t know what our state is like”,

said the secretary.

“I want to give my support as an artist and cultural representative to Isabelle Nogueira, for her performance in the program, as a woman, artist, Amazonian and to invite everyone to the Festa da Cunhã, whether in Manaus or Parintins”,

adds Marcos Apolo.

Attractions in Largo São Sebastião

To set the tone for the Cunhã Festival, the ox-bumbá song cannot be missed. Before the broadcast, artists from Bois Caprichoso and Garantido perform a show lasting 1h20, 40 minutes for each boi.

From 8pm onwards, Touro Negro takes the stage. The blue artists, Patrick Araújo and Prince perform with Marujada de Guerra, Corpo de Dança Caprichoso (CDC) and the Raça Caprichoso fans.

We show the strength of our culture, our people, our blue and red colors and that is why this unity should not be underestimated. I invite the capricious and assured from all over Brazil to make Isabelle Nogueira the champion of Big Brother Brasil 2024”,

invites setter Patrick Araújo.

Next, the bull from Baixa do São José performs alongside Sebastião Jr and David Assayag. Confirmed presence of rhythmists from Batucada, dancers from Garantido Show and the Comando Garantido fans. Sebastião Jr, lifter of the red ox, reinforces that support for the cunhã goes beyond the award.

“Isabelle has always made us proud, for being our representative, our sister-in-law of Garantido, representing the women of the red and white nation. And today, she becomes much more proud for all of us, because she is representing all the women in the Amazon, who fight in life, who have a purpose, an objective. Isabelle is the Cunhã-Poranga of Brazil, she is a source of pride for all of us”,

declares.

The shows take a break for the live broadcast of the program, scheduled for 9:20 pm. After this long-awaited moment, the party continues until 11:30 pm, with the band Kaboclos.
