In the last F1 race of the season, Verstappen only suffered a little on the first lap.

It was a parade for Dutchman Max Verstappen. The Red Bull driver took pole and won the 22nd and final stage of the 2023 Formula 1 season, in Abu Dhabi. And it also guaranteed the team the championship in the Constructors’ World Championship.

Not to mention that it was a victory without any problems, on the first lap, Charles Leclerc, from Ferrari, really bothered the season champion. But only this. For the rest of the race, the Dutchman reigned alone in first place.

Max Verstappen won the season with 19 victories in 22 races, a record.

Sergio Perez crossed the finish line in second place for Red Bull, but a five-second penalty for a dispute with McLaren’s Lando Norris demoted him to fourth. Thus, Leclerc came second, and George Russell, from Mercedes, third.

In fact, Russell’s third place was enough to make Mercedes second in the Constructors’ World Championship.

Norris had to settle for fifth place after his dispute with Perez, with teammate Oscar Piastri taking sixth place.
