Under the presidency of deputy Bia Kicis (PL-DF), the CFFC (Financial Inspection and Control Commission) of the Chamber has already heard four ministers of the government Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

So far, there have been hearings with Carlos Lupi (Labor and Employment), Flávio Dino (Justice), Paulo Pimenta (Secretary of Communication) and Fernando Haddad (Finance). Sessions are also planned with Márcio Macedo (General Secretariat) this Wednesday (14), Mauro Vieira (External Relations) on the 28th and Camilo Santana (Education) on July 5th.

The deputy’s sights are now on the president of Petrobras, Jean Paul Prates. This Tuesday (13th) she submitted an invitation request, which should be voted on Wednesday.

Of the House’s thematic committees, the CFFC is the most commonly used to charge the Executive. For this reason, the PT tried to prevent Bia Kicis from chairing it.

In a meeting with the Bolivian president, Luis Arce, Prates said that the company has plans to resume its investments in Bolivia, Venezuela and Guyana.
