Manaus (AM) – The Social Service of Industry (SESI Amazonas) and the Ministry of Culture (MinC) will hold on the 13th and 14th of November at the Clube do Trabalhador, located at Alameda Cosme Ferreira, 7399, São José, training workshops for cultural agents in the state , through the Rouanet Norte Program. The workshops will receive 80 participants, divided into two groups, lasting 8 hours, with the right to certification.
The creation of the Cultural Agents Training Program is to develop actions within the scope of the Culture Incentive Law (Rouanet Law) in all regions of Brazil, starting in the northern region, with the purpose of offering technical skills for preparation, registration, execution and accountability of cultural projects.
Four Brazilian companies will invest a total of R$24 million in cultural projects in the northern region through the Culture Incentive Law. To meet the demand in Amazonas, SESI Amazonas created the Culture Center, which operates at SESI Clube do Trabalhador (CTAM), led by professor Márcio Braz and CTAM’s artistic and cultural producer, Kid Mahall.
“This workshop is extremely significant for Amazonas, since this notice is aimed exclusively at the northern region. I believe that we will have a record number of registered cultural agents in the state of Amazonas in the Rouanet Law, the more agents trained, the more projects registered, the greater the participation and greater engagement in relation to the notice itself”,
highlighted Professor Braz.
The training will be carried out through a workshop, taught by professor Márcio Braz and the general coordinator of Innovations at MinC, Rômulo Menhô Barbosa. The first day will be broadcast on the official SESI Amazonas YouTube channel.
