The example comes from above, says the commonplace. And when it is common for the president to speak out without restraint, unrestrained declarations become widespread in the Republic. They are accepted naturally, but it would be enough to observe them with some rigor to see them as an atrocious disrespect for institutional etiquette.
How can we demand from the population to soften the deal in the clash between opposites if within the scope of the three Powers, at their respective summits, what counts is reactive aggressiveness? In a brief drawing, we have a piece of the distortion picture in a short space of time.
A judge from the Federal Supreme Court reacts untimely to the X owner’s search for the spotlight, descending to the level of the billionaire’s interests; two state ministers fry the president of Petrobras; the president of the Chamber publicly criticizes the government’s political coordinator on suspicion of having been criticized by him in the ears of journalists.
The noise environment overrides reason. So-called republican authorities would be expected to pay civilized reverence to rationality.
Once the damage is done, patches are resorted to that do nothing to remedy the profusion of inappropriate behavior from an institutional point of view. The President of the Republic alleges “stubbornness” to provide functional support to the coordinator. A sign of a double bet on friction with deputy Arthur Lira.
Lula does not clearly resolve the dispute for the presidency of Petrobras, while in the STF the collegiate gives official support, but does not fully agree with Alexandre de Moraes’ decisions. Some ministers think differently to what the formal supporting note says, but remain silent.
What we can deduce from the whole is the usefulness of Billy Blanco’s lesson in his “Statute” of a gafieira much more organized than the currently disorganized Brazilian Republic: the environment demands respect.
