TRE-AP’s judicial secretary, Milene Lages, revealed in the Meeting Point (Daily FM 90.9) this Tuesday, 16th, that the electoral calendar for this year’s municipal elections is not yet closed, but that some activities can already be developed.

Among what can be done, for now, are electoral registrations, reviews and transfer requests with a deadline of May 8.

To better serve voters, Milene informed, the Electoral Court began itinerant work this Monday, the 15th, in the Miracema housing complex, north of Macapá, continuing until tomorrow, the 17th. The itinerancy will also cover the interior of the state.

The judicial secretary informed, however, that the voter can also take steps to qualify to vote, via the Internet, but must appear in person at the electoral registry to take care of biometrics.

Another service released in relation to the municipal elections on October 6th, for mayor, deputy and councilors, is the carrying out of research, with institutes in the sector having to register the procedure with the TSE.

Milena Lages recalled the electoral window for changing parties among councilors with mandates, from March 7th to April 5th.

Regarding the closing of the electoral calendar to be in force throughout the country, the secretary informed that there will still be two public hearings on the topic, on the 23rd and 25th of this month.
