The singer Iza stole the attention when she appeared in the VIP area of Estádio Maião to follow the match between Mirassol and Palmeiras, for the Campeonato Paulista. She and steering wheel Yuri Lima are “getting to know each other” and taking on an “affair”.

After ending the marriage last year, the Rio singer Iza already had some personalities pointed out as possible affairs. The one of the moment is the soccer player Yuri Lima, with whom the singer would have spent New Year’s Eve, according to Lance. The 28-year-old midfielder has played for Santos and Fluminense and was recently hired by Mirassol, from São Paulo.

Born in São Paulo, Yuri began his career at the Audax school in Osasco. He developed in the club’s youth teams and was loaned to Palmeiras between 2013 and 2014, where he played in the under-20s. Back in the original team, he made his professional debut in 2015, aged 20. The day after his debut, a new loan: he started playing for Audax in Rio, in an exchange facilitated by the management of the team, which has the same owner, where he stayed for a year.

Yuri returned to his original team, where he won the title with coach Fernando Diniz, in the campaign that took Audax to the Paulistão final for the first time in history. Then, another loan: this time, he went to Santos, where he stayed for three seasons, and was hired permanently a year and a half after the beginning of his loan period. He found the net once in 55 opportunities, and played in Série A and Libertadores. Contrary to what happened in the small team, he had few opportunities as a professional.

From Santos, Yuri went to Fluminense, where the story was similar: initially on a loan deal, the player had his transfer permanently negotiated for about a year with the club. He won the title under the command of Marcão, but his passage in football in Rio was also quick. From Tricolor, the midfielder was loaned twice, first to Cuiabá, in 2021 and last year to Juventude. At the end of the season, which ended with relegation, coach Celso Roth asked for a permanent contract, but the agreement did not go through.

Last Monday, he was announced as a player for Mirassol, from São Paulo. He has already started training at the club and will be available to coach Eduardo Baptista on the 14th, when the club debuts in Paulistão against one of Yuri’s former teams, Santos.
