Brazilian football calendar 2024 | With the end of the Club World Cup, attention in football will return to the national championships from January onwards. When will the São Paulo Junior Football Cup take place?

The main tournament for the youth categories of Brazilian football, the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior opens the calendar in national competitions. From January 2nd, 128 clubs take to the field in search of the title and to reveal new talents for Brazilian football in the coming years. The final takes place on January 25th.

When will the Brazilian Super Cup be?

Competition resumed by the CBF in 2020, the Supercopa do Brasil is the competition that, in theory, opens the national competitions of the year. In 2024, Palmeiras, Brazilian champion, will face São Paulo, winner of the Copa do Brasil. Initially, the duel would be at Mané Garrincha, in Brasília, but the tendency is for the game to change cities. The clash is scheduled for February 3rd.

When is the Brazilian Cup?

“More democratic” competition is one of the highlights of the Brazilian football calendar, the Copa do Brasil, which brings together clubs from all states in the country, starts on February 21st, with the first phase. In 2024, the finals will again be played on Sundays, as was the case in 2023.

When will the Libertadores da América be held?

An object of desire for Brazilian clubs, the Libertadores begins on February 7th, with the preliminary phases. Red Bull Bragantino and Botafogo are the only ones from Brazil that will compete in this initial stage of the competition.

Flamengo, Palmeiras, Internacional, Atlético-MG, Fluminense and São Paulo are the other Brazilian representatives, who begin the dispute in the group stage. When will the Copa Sudamericana take place?

There is no defined location yet.

When will the Brasileirão be?

Finally, the main national competition, the Brazilian Championship, is scheduled to start on April 14th. Series B should start on April 20th. The complete calendar, with all dates and rounds, has not yet been defined by the CBF. The last round is scheduled for December 8th. It is worth noting that the dispute will not be stopped during the Copa América.
