Manaus (AM) – Registration for the entrance exam for the Medicine course at Faculdade Santa Teresa, rated with a maximum score of 5 by the Ministry of Education (MEC), remains open until this Friday (8), at 12pm. Candidates must register in person at the FST headquarters, at Rua Acre, 200, Nossa Senhora das Graças neighborhood. The test takes place on the same day, starting at 2pm.

According to the course coordinator, infectious disease doctor Maria das Graças Alecrim, the degree was designed and structured to offer complete training to students, with an approach to active methodologies and support from medical professors who are references in their areas of expertise.
Active methodologies, he explains, allow students to acquire practical skills from the beginning of the course. “To this end, partnerships are maintained with other public medical institutions. In this way, the student has direct contact with real cases and situations in the profession”, he emphasizes.
Just like in other courses at Santa Teresa, where encouraging entrepreneurship is an important pillar of professional training, in Medicine the topic will also be constantly worked on with students. “The proposal is to present to future doctors the different market possibilities that can be explored throughout their training,” he said.
According to the coordinator, other differences of the Medicine course are the use of educational technology, as a support for expanding knowledge, and the encouragement of research and modern infrastructure, with cutting-edge laboratories for teaching classes.
