The leader of the government in Congress, Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP), took the cell phone from the hand of youtuber Wilker Leão —who became known for calling former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) “tchutchuca do centrão”—during a discussion of the two in the National Congress.

Leão was in Congress this Thursday (2nd) with a visitor’s sticker. Shortly before, the senator had participated in the opening of the legislative year, held in the plenary of the Chamber of Deputies.

With a cell phone camera in hand, the youtuber insistently asked the senator’s opinion on terrorism and political harassment. At one point, the report witnessed Randolfe grabbing the influencer’s hand to take the cell phone.

While the two disputed possession of the device, third-party Senate security guards intervened to remove the influencer from the government leader, so that the youtuber’s cell phone stayed with the senator. He then got into an elevator and rode the device up.

Randolfe Rodrigues’ office was sought, but did not comment.

Wilker Leão became known for getting involved in a mess with the former president on the way out of the Alvorada Palace, in Brasília.
