Randolfe receives Anatel’s CEO in Brasília – News of Brazil

On the morning of this Monday 8th, the senator Randolfe Rodrigues (AP) received, in Brasília, the director-president of the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), Carlos Baigorri. On the occasion, Baigorri announced that the new submarine telecommunications cable that left Belém arrived this week in Macapá, and will soon be activated.
For Randolfe, O “the submarine telecommunications cable is a revolution for Amapá and the Amazon, which will take communications in Amapá to another level. Without a doubt, this new cable will improve service in the state and guarantee quality telephone and broadband internet access to users.”
“In fact, this is a very important public policy that has been implemented by the Ministry of Communications. We are delivering more high-quality and transformative infrastructure to the North region”explained Baigorri.
Senator Randolfe’s initiative adds to the negotiations already carried out by the Government of Amapá, together with Senator Davi Alcolumbre.
The inauguration and activation ceremony of the cable in Amapá is also planned, with the presence of the minister of communications, Juscelino Filho.
