Manaus (AM) – New electoral research for the Manaus City Hall dispute, released this Monday (8), the current head of the Municipal Executive Branch, David Almeida (Avante), opens up an advantage and leads in the three survey scenarios. The survey interviewed, in person, 1 thousand voters in the capital of Amazonas, in the six electoral zones, between the 1st and 5th of April.

According to the stimulated scenario presented, the mayor of Manaus, David Almeida (Avante) leads the electoral race with 29.1% of voting intentions, followed by federal deputy Amom Mandel (Cidadania), with 25%, and federal deputy Captain Alberto Neto ( PL), with 12.3% and by the president of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas, state deputy Roberto Cidade (União Brasil), with 10% of voting intentions.

Next comes Wilker Barreto (Mobiliza), with 2.3%; Maria do Carmo Seffair (Novo), with 1.0%, Israel Tuyuka (PDT), with 0.9% and Anne Moura (PT), with 0.7% of voting intentions.

Blank and null votes correspond to 11.1%, and the portion of those who do not know or did not respond is 7.6%.

Regarding the names of Israel Tuyuka and Anne Moura being in the research, it is important to highlight that the first withdrew his candidacy on April 4, during the field research, and the second, it was not possible to replace his name with that of Marcelo Ramos (PT ), who announced his pre-candidacy for the PT on April 6, shortly after the conclusion of the research.

Spontaneous Scenario:

In the spontaneous research scenario, David Almeida leads with 12.3%, followed by Amom Mandel, with 8.9%, Capitão Alberto Neto, with 2.2%, and Roberto Cidade, with 1.8%.

Wilker Barreto and Maria do Carmo Seffair both appear with 0.1%.

The remaining names total 2.3%. Blanks and nulls total 3.3%.

Those who say they still don’t know who to vote for or haven’t responded represent 69.2% of voters in Manaus.

Among the pre-candidates, Wilker Barreto and David Almeida are the most rejected.

33.0% of those interviewed said they knew him and that they would not vote for Wilker Barreto under any circumstances.

32.3% of voters also said they would not vote for David Almeida under any circumstances.

Captain Alberto Neto and Roberto Cidade both appear with 22.7% rejection, while Amom Mandel has a rejection of 13.9%.
