PT leaders traveled to Russia last week at the invitation of the party linked to President Vladimir Putin, for a meeting whose agenda was Western “neocolonialism”.
The event, with representatives of parties from several countries outside the US orbit, was attended by the secretary general of the PT, Henrique Fontana, and the secretary of International Relations, Romênio Pereira.
The organization was in charge of United Russia, Putin’s legend, which seeks to create a support network in the context of the reaction led by the US and Europe against the invasion of Ukraine. There were also parties from countries like China and South Africa.
