Prouni 2023: candidates seek result and criticize delay – 07/03/2023 – Educação

Candidates for scholarships from Prouni (University for All Program) have been complaining since early this Tuesday (7th) about the lack of information about the result of the program. There is still no definition of the time for the MEC to publish the results for the first half of 2023, scheduled for this Tuesday.

In all, there were 574,000 applications for 290,000 scholarships offered by the government.

Access to the results page is via the MEC portal, which also gathers information and results from Sisu (Unified Selection System) and Fies (Student Financing Fund). When asked to respond to the complaints, the ministry did not respond until the publication of this report.

The program offers full or partial scholarships (50% of the amount) for undergraduate or sequential higher education courses. The sequential teaching modality offers technical and short-term training, of up to two years.

During the morning, while some candidates complained on social networks about the lack of information, others said they had changed the computer’s clock, which made the website display the button for the result.

The concern increases because those who do not get the full scholarship at Prouni have until Friday (10) to choose to finance their graduation at a private institution through Fies.

Enrollments for the funding program opened this Tuesday (7), and candidates can opt for up to three undergraduate course options when enrolling.
