Registration for Fies (Student Financing Fund) begins this Tuesday (7th), a program to finance graduation in paid higher education courses. According to the MEC (Ministry of Education), 67,000 vacancies are offered in the first half, out of a total of 112,000 for this year.

Access to the enrollment page is via the MEC portal, which also gathers information and results from Sisu (Unified Selection System) and Prouni (University for All Program). Candidates will have until Friday (10) to enroll in up to three undergraduate course options.

Those seeking funding must have taken the Enem from 2010 to 2022, with an average grade equal to or greater than 450, and cannot have zeroed the essay. Applicants must prove gross monthly family income of up to three minimum wages per person.

The value is calculated by the sum of the gross income of all members of the family group, which is divided by the number of people.

At the end of last year, the MEC announced the anticipation of the calendars. Prouni registrations were held until last Friday (3), and the result is expected this Tuesday.

Around 8:40 am, users reported on profiles on social networks that they were still waiting for the Prouni result. This happens because those who do not get the full scholarship can apply for funding for the rest of the course through Fies.
