Manaus (AM) – The social project Pedala Livre invites the city of Manaus for a nighttime cycling tour, this Tuesday (20). With the provision of 108 free bicycles, the initiative seeks to promote health, well-being and social integration through cycling.

Created by Fernando Barroso, a bicycle enthusiast and entrepreneur, Pedala Livre aims to encourage cycling as a form of leisure, physical activity and sustainable transport. Barroso, whose passion for bicycles was inspired by his parents, Galego and Olga, known as the pioneers of bicycle rental in the Alvorada neighborhood, highlights the importance of the initiative.

Pedala Livre night cycling tours take place every Tuesday and Friday, providing regular opportunities for the community to enjoy group cycling.

With a route specially planned for beginners, it will gather at 7pm and leave at 8pm from Rua Rafael Assayag (formerly Rua 5), ​​82 – Alvorada 1, close to Feira Coberta. With a distance of 12km, the route promises to be a memorable experience for all participants.
