A three-month pregnant woman was injured after being hit in the face with a glass bottle. She was inside the RPE Parintins Futebol Clube bus that was stoned after winning the game against São Raimundo, in Manaus. The victim received medical care in the capital and then went with other exchangers to Rio Preto da Eva, in the interior of Amazonas.

The case happened last Sunday (3), after Parintins FC’s 2-0 victory over São Raimundo, in a match valid for the Amazonense Championship.

In an official note, Parintins FC stated that “sports rivalry can never justify such regrettable attitudes.” In addition to asking that measures be taken to locate those responsible for the crime. See full note:

São Raimundo expressed its condemnation of the acts of violence and highlighted that “an escalation of fights between fans is taking place and it is something that worries all football lovers”.
