Manaus (AM) – Starting next Monday (5), the Government of Amazonas, through the State Secretariat for Sports and Leisure (Sedel), opens registrations for 3,570 vacancies, in 16 sports, for athletes aged 7 to 17, in the Sports and Leisure Program in the Capital and Interior (Pelci).
Among the sports offered by Pelci are athletics, basketball, futsal, beach soccer, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, handball, judo, table tennis, volleyball, chess, swimming, jiu-jitsu, field football, footvolley and wrestling. In the Olympic Village alone, there are 12 sports and more than 1,600 places offered.
“The Government of Amazonas has boosted sport in the state, and Pelci has been a tool of social transformation for young talents, revealing high-performance athletes in various modalities”, highlighted the secretary of Sedel, Jorge Oliveira.
