The FPF (São Paulo Football Federation) announced this Monday (11) the dates and locations where the matches in the quarter-final phase of the Campeonato Paulista will be held.
The knockout stage starts on Saturday (16), at 6pm, when Palmeiras and Ponte Preta will face each other, at Arena Barueri, broadcast by CazéTV and Paulistão Play.
Current two-time champion, alviverde had the best campaign in the state so far and qualified for the next phase in advance.
The Campinas team secured classification in the last round on Sunday (10), despite a defeat to relegated Santo André, but benefiting from the draw between Água Santa and Corinthians. Ponte Preta and Água Santa were competing for the second place in the group.
The other three matches take place on Sunday (17). At 4pm, in the interior duel, Red Bul Bragantino and Inter de Limeira face off at the Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium, in Bragança Paulista, who finished first and second in group C and left Corinthians out of the quarterfinals. The game is broadcast on CazéTV and Paulistão Play.
At 6pm, São Paulo and Novorizontino face off, at Morumbis, broadcast on TV Record, CazéTV and Paulistão Play. The two teams only managed to qualify in the last round of the group stage, with victories against Ituano and Portuguesa, respectively.
The quarter-final round ends with the classic between Santos and Portuguesa, at 8:15 pm, in Vila Belmiro. TNT and Max broadcast the match.
